Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
We created an icon on our shellbar that points to our Webmail Page.
After a user logs in to Webmail, and when they go to create or forward an email a new window pops up. When the user presses SEND in Webmail that window hangs, and you have to force to close. Causing the PWB to crash.
We have tested on multiple PCs, and even Windows Based Terminals with the same effect.
We are currently using PWB CEF v3.0.4.5
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
On a side note, I also notice our Zoom in the bottom right corner of the window will change its Zoom Level to 2600%. This only seems to occur when we have a 2nd tab open in IE Mode, and when we toggle back to the original Chrome Tab.

What brand of webmail server are you using?
Try the webmail with an unedited INI file to rule out any configuration issues.

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Tried using the default PWB file, with only the Webmail button I created added to the Shellbar. Still Hangs.
We are using Outlook Web Access 2010

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Still getting the same error where it hangs once I send in the popup window when sending an email.
The Email will still go through but the window does not close without forcing it, causing the entire PWB to stop working.

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
I added our Webmail to the IE Compatibility settings, and I am able to send emails now without PWB crashing.
However are you still able to look into fixing this in the Chrome Framework, since we are trying to minimize the pages that require a new IE Tab to be opened.

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Also we require our webmail to work in the Chrome Framework, since the IE Version will not allow the spellcheck to work.
Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
We were able to duplicate the issue and should have it resolved soon.

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Any update on this, or do you require any other info?
Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
It will take a few days to work out the logic to account for this. Hopefully by the start of next week we will have it out for beta testing.

Any Update on this?
Also I noticed that in the Chrome window users are not able to open hyperlinks to documents. In the IE windows it allows them to open or Save. With the Chrome Tab it only lets you save the file.

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
PWB v3.05.0k CEF now available on the Beta page should correct the closing of the window when using Outlook Web-mail.
Chrome does not allow opening of Word Documents as does Internet Explorer. PWB CEF should prompt to save the Word Document unless you have downloads disabled. You can use the [Security]CheckExecuteAccess=True filter to open files in native executable.
Here is more information on CheckExecuteAccess:

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
After using the new BETA, and manually upgrading the PWB.INI file to version 3.05. (Will the PWBINIUpdater file update that as well soon?)
Webmail now seems to work.
Also was able to use the:
[Files]
ExecuteFilterFile=execute.txt
[Security]
CheckExecuteAccess=True
In order to allow for launching applications through Chrome instead of downloading and saving only.
The only remaining issue I now see is the default Zoom for the CEF Tab is 125%, where the IE tab is 100%. Is it possible to have the default for the CEF tab set to 100%?

When PWB 3.05.0 is released the PWB v3 INI Updater will also be updated and released.
For the default zoom level set the following in your INI file.
[Browser]
DefaultZoomLevel=

Re: Issues with Webmail in PWB CEF v3
Excellent. Seems to be working great. Not sure why it wasn't working though it was set to 100.
I just want to thank you and all your team for the assistance with this. It was quite a transition from the PWB v3 IE to The PWB v3 CEF, but it was well worth it, and you have all been very quick to address the issues.
All your assistance was very much appreciated, and I think we can mark this as completed.
Thanks
