Consumer Reports

Post by Thomas »

Hello-
I was alerted to an issue with the Consumer Reports website interacting with PWB IE.
When clicking on a ratings link for a category, the ratings section of the page takes almost 45 seconds to load.

When using PWB CEF or straight IE, the page loads after only a second or two.

I have tested with a clean INI file and have the same results. I am running Windows 7, IE 11, all latest updates.

Please let me know if there is any additional information I can offer.

Thanks-
Tom

Using a stock unedited INI file the site seems to work in PWB IE as it does in IE itself.

Do you have PWB IE configured for Compatibility mode?

I'm having the same problem with PWB v2.11 running on Windows 7. Internet Explorer is uninstalled. I don't see anything in the INI file for compatibility mode. Removing everything in the CheckURLFile except +all doesn't improve performance.

PWB v2 uses Internet Explorer for all the HTML rendering, so make sure you have the newest version of Internet Explorer installed.

I would recommend using the Chrome version of PWB instead of the IE version of PWB.
