PWBv3037 with Encore

Post by ALDAmanda »

We just recently added Encore to lay over our catalog. Since then when you click on external links that open in a new tab, that tab will start toggling back and forth between our website and catalog. The only way to stop this is to reboot the computer. A reboot will fix it temporarily, but after a while (a few timeouts maybe?) it will start toggling back and forth again, making it unusable.

We bumped back to an older version of PWB to see if that would fix it, and that had a different problem that would start up after a few minutes. Click on external link to open new tab and new tab page would be frozen and no links would work nor form fields clickable.

Any idea what is going on?

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

IE 10.

Another weird thing with this version of PWB is it won't read xml script that it does in prior versions.

Try setting the following in your INI file.

[Browser]
IEBrowserEmulation=7000

You may also want to take a look at PWB v3.03.7 CEF available on the Downloads page.

Hey Scott,

We got Version 3.03.7 to work with without any of the errors we were getting before. The only thing is we have disableexit=true in the ini file and it is still allowing us to close the window using alt+F4.

Sorry, it looks like there is a bug in PWB v3.03.7 that prevents disable exit from working correctly. You could try using Restart On Close instead to keep PWB open.

Otherwise the disable exit has been fixed in PWB v3.03.8 now available on the Beta Downloads page.
