Confirm close confirms closing multiple windows as closing the main PWB window closes them all.

Has anyone else tried using ConfirmClose?

We noticed that the confirm close message does not display for any other window or tab except for the initial tab from when PWB is launched.

For example, the confirmation message does not appear when multiple tabs are open if the initial tab is not currently selected.

We also noticed that if the initial tab is closed the confirmation message will never display.

Thanks,
Jesse

The confirm close when a tab is opened and closed is fixed in PWB version 3.01.8.

Hi scott,
I have the following settings.
[Browser]
ShowAddressBar=False

[ToolBars]
AddressBarWidth=
ShowButtontext=False
NavigationBarBreak=False
NavigationBarGripper=False
ToolBarBreak=False
ToolBarGripper=False
AddressBarBreak=False
AddressBarGripper=False

[Buttons]
Back=False
Forward=False
Stop=False
Refresh=False
Home=False
Favorites=False
Menu=False
New=False
NewTab=False
Save=False
Cut=False
Copy=False
Paste=False
Find=False
Print=False
PrintPreview=False

After turning off all these features I am left with a grey bar across the top of the screen.

Is there any way to hide the grey bar?
Thanks!
Jesse

Would it be possible for you to post a screen shot of what you are seeing?

We are including [Browser]ShowNavigationBar, and [Browser]ShowToolbar in version 3.02.1. This new version should be in beta testing by the end of this week.

Hello, Scott.

Would it be possible to hide the PWB3 item in the taskbar?

Thanks,
-Jesse.

You can not hide PWB on the Taskbar, but you can use HideGUI to hide the Taskbar.

Unfortunately, that isn't an option for us.

We have [Browser]DisableExit=True and [Overrides]ExitBrower is set, but the user can still close PWB3 via its taskbar item. We tested PWB2, but with the same setting the user cannot close the window down through the taskbar item.

Thanks,
-Jesse

Although we can not hide PWB on the Taskbar, we can certainly fix the closing via the Taskbar.

PWB version 3.02.2 currently on the Beta Downloads page should fix the closing of PWB when [Browser]DisableExit is true.

Scott,

I was wondering if ConfirmClose could be changed slightly.

PWB 2 has ConfirmCloseMultipleWindows

I would love to have that same feature in pwb 3.

Can it be done?

Thanks for Everything!
Jesse
