htm favorite not visible
We are not enabling url filter. We are pointing favorites to network location. One shortcut in the favorite folder is an htm file which is located on local machines c: drives. Problem is that it isn't viewable from the favorites menu. The other favorites are fine. Ideas as to why?
PWB will only allow Internet Shortcuts in the Favorites. In order to create an Internet Shortcut to a local file you will need to address it as an URL.
Examples:
file://C:/test.htm
file://C:/Local%20Files/test.htm
Notice the use of the %20 for spaces. The easiest way to create the shortcut is to use Internet Explorer to create it using the Favorites Add, then copy it from the IE Favorites folder to the PWB favorites folder.
