Full screen mode

Post by jsand »

I'm trying to run PWB in full screen mode to display a web page which shows waiting times for public internet stations. PWB will likely be set to run as the shell through group policy. I'm really looking for something like "iexplore.exe -k" which runs absolutely full screen with no borders whatsoever, and the closest I have gotten in PWB is kiosk mode with all toolbars removed, but this leaves a 1-2 pixel border around the edge of the page. Is there any way around this?

The 2 pixels is the PWB frame window which houses the IE Web Browser Control. In the current version of PWB this is can not be disabled.

There is an application that does what you want that I just posted to the beta download page called "FullPageView" that you can use.

FullPageView disaplays a web page full screen and has a password exit dialog.

If it does not meet your needs we can certainly further develop it for you.
