SirsiDynix Enteprise catalog 4.5

Post by esteffensen »

We upgraded our Enterprise catalog today. It looks fine on IE PCs without PWB. However, on the PCs with PWB, the search box is getting pushed to a second line under our library name/keyword; the search button is on a third line; and the advanced search link is to the right of the keyword field. See screenshot.

Is there a fix you recommend in the pwb.ini file? I will also ask our consortium to look at our CSS file.

We need a bit more information to answer your question.

1. What version of Windows are you using?

2. What version of Internet Explorer are you using with PWB v2?

3. What version of PWB v2 are you using including the minor revision number, for example 2.11.9?

Using PWB v2.11.9 on Windows 7 64bit with Internet Explorer 11.0 the site seems to function as in Internet Explorer, see attached screen shots.

Otherwise, you could upgrade to PWB v3 CEF which uses the Chrome HTML rendering engine and does not suffer from the IE compatibility issues.

You should upgrade your Internet Explorer to version 11.0 since this is what PWB uses for all the HTML rendering.
