Hotmail crashes browser

We're using PWB version 2.1.1.6 and we've been getting a lot of "Public Web Browser has encountered a problem and needs to close" errors on Hotmail. All of our PCs are windows 7 professional with IE 9. We clear the cache on browser close and popup blocker is disabled. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this? Any help greatly appreciated!

I have seen this outside of PWB. Uninstalling 3rd party toolbars remedied for our group.

Ensure you are not using PWB in comparability mode when using IE9.
