Are you using the PWB filters?

[Security]
CheckURLAccess=True
CheckIPAccess=True

Change this setting for ManageIE.

"ShowMessage"=dword:00000000

Yep, using Filters to block of the C Drive...spoke with you in regards to this in another thread.

changin the ShowMessage got rid of the first prompt. about the URL being blocked, but the other prompts still come up.

Do you get the error if you try to access something in PWB that is being blocked by your URL filter?

The only think in the filter is the C Drive.

When I type in the C Drive, I do get the proper popups in regards to Access. I even have a custom message and it comes up.

However this custom message does not come up when we get the errors for ManageIE

Remove all the registry keys for ManageIE except for the following.

"Disabled"=dword:00000000
"OpenPWBToURL"=dword:00000001

I have removed all keys under HKLM\Software\TeamSoftware Solutions\ManageIE
except for the two listed below, and Default.

However the same prompts are still coming up.

Do I need to enable or disable anything in the normal PWB.ini?

Are you using an alternate INI file through the command line switch "/INI="?

If you are using an alternate INI file change the following to the ManageIE registry settings.

"OpenPWBToURL"=dword:00000000
"URLApplication"="E:\\PWB\\PWBNav.exe /INI=E:\\PWB\\ALT.INI"
"OpenApplicationToURL"=dword:00000001

Substitute your PWB.EXE and alternate INI paths.

This will tell ManageIE to open PWB with a command line to the URL.

Nope using the standard PWB.ini.

However parts of that INI have been edited to work in our enviroment.

No where do we use a switch .ini=

The "/INI" goes in the command line that starts PWB to specify an alternate INI file.

It is PWB giving your the messages not ManageIE. It sounds like ManageIE is starting PWB with the stock INI file and not your modified INI file.

Not sure how or why I would be using an alternate ini.

The PWB.ini file is located in the same location as the PWB.exe file or the ManageIE file.

To use the IMG tag you need to park the image on a web server and then surround the URL to the image in the IMG tags.

Or you can email it to support@teamsoftwaresolutions.com

Lets start from the beginning.

Remove all the keys in the following registry location.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TeamSoftware Solutions\ManageIE]

This will be the basic install of ManageIE and should just close IE if you try to start it.

If you try to start Internet Explorer does it close without giving you are message boxes?
