Thanks Scott. We had checked out the INIupdate utility under the context of doing an in-place upgrade of the 2.09 version but hadn't pictured it as being useful when trying to duplicate the setup on a completly different PC. We'll dig into it. Thanks, as usual, for the steller customer service. Gregg

Oh man, I almost thought we had it there. We had missed the StartTimersOnMouseKeyboard=True setting so we set that per your suggestion. Now when PWB starts it goes to our home page and the inactivity timer does NOT start, so we thought we were all set. Unfortunatly the first time you go off the home...

Inactivity timer constantly resets

Hello, We are using PWB 2.09 now on one PC running as a kiosk, running fine for about a year. We use the inactivity timer to return to the home page after 5 minutes of idle time. Here are our current inactivity settings: [Inactivity] InactivityTimer=True InactivitySeconds=540 InactivityMessageTitle=...

Duplicate PWB settings on a 2nd machine?

Hello, We are using PWB 2.09 now on one PC running as a kiosk. We are getting a second kiosk PC. I just bought another license and downloaded PWB 2.10.2. We want to duplicate the setup on this new PC to what we have configured on our first one. Is there a clever way to do this, or is it just a matte...

Fair enough; I knew we were getting a little far afield with this one. We appreciate your giving it as much time as you did. We took a look at Foxit but we’ll dig a little deeper.

Thanks,

Gregg

Sorry to be such a pill... we still can't get it to work inside of a browser, even the new version, but even if it did we hit a show-stopper. We had missed the fact that if you ckick the 'show toolbars' button in the lower left-hand corner all of the toolbars come up including our friendly Yahoo sea...

I must be missing somthing. This version exibits the exact same results as the earlier one, as described in this thread; using the 'Open' button a second time opens up Acrobat, and using it inside of IE/PWB opens up Acrobat. Do I need to somehow 'un-register' the earlier version of this utility on m...

This is just what we were looking for also, but I can’t get it to work the way I want. We’re using PWB2. We weren’t letting any PDF’s be opened originally so this was not a problem, but now we’re letting PDF’s (forms & such) on our intranet site be opened. These PDF’s are links in the web page, ...
